Vincent LaCroix

Vince LaCroix, age 57, of Yankton, South Dakota died unexpectedly on Friday, January 24, 2025 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton with Reverend Mike Newago officiating.

Vincent Lee LaCroix was born November 30, 1967 to Fred and Patricia (LaCroix) Wilson. He grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota where he graduated from Central High School in 1985. After high school, Vince worked in Rapid City until moving to Yankton in 1997. He then worked at Jensen Scrap Metal for over 10 years. Vince also worked at the Dollar Tree and HyVee for several years. He loved listening to music and going to concerts. Vince enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on his favorite driver, Jimmy Johnson. He also enjoyed building model cars. But most of all, Vince loved spending time and spoiling his daughter and grandchildren.

Vince is survived by his daughter, Katie LaCroix (Dominique Rickard) of Neligh, NE; two grandchildren, Braylin and Kynzlee; his mother, Patty Wilson of Menominee, WI; and two brothers, Kevin (Brenda) Wilson and Darrin Wilson, both of Rapid City.

Vince was preceded in death by his father, Fred Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
