Trenten L. Tanderup

Trenten L. Tanderup age 25 of Wisner, Nebraska died unexpectantly on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in Madison, NE. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hartington, Nebraska with the Rev. Amanda Talley officiating.  Burial will be at the Maskell Cemetery in Maskell, Nebraska.  Visitation will be on Monday, June 6^th from 5-7:00 p.m. at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday, at church, one hour prior to services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington. Pallbearers will be Wyatt Dowling, Ryan Lunz, Chayce Hirschman, Isaac Gothier, Brandon Abts, and Kordale Strivens. Trenten Lee was born on August 14, 1996 in Wayne, Nebraska to Eric Douglas Tanderup and Geri Lynn Schwarz.  He grew up in the Dixon and Laurel area and graduated from Laurel High School in 2015.  Trenten worked for Dan Hansen at the Hog Confinement in Carroll, NE.  He then worked for Great Dane Trailers in Wayne for a couple years.  Trenten spent six months at the Dixon County Feed Yard before working for Tyson Foods in Madison, NE in the maintenance department.   Trenten always tried to improve himself and was a dedicated employee even if called in on a weekend or odd hours. Trenten loved to buy and sell vehicles, tinker with his cars and being with family.  He loved being in the outdoors.  He was a “want to be” cowboy and enjoyed his guns and assortment of pocket knives. Trenten is survived by his parents Eric (Tammi) Tanderup of Martinsburg, NE; brother Travis (Wendy) McNear of Allen, NE (their children are Rebecka, Carter, & Stockden); sister Shelbi (Kris) White of Kearney, NE (their children Jordyn, Madelyn, & William); three step-sisters Katelynn (Coleman) Broders of Wayne, NE (their children Creek, Flint, & Ridge), Erika (Steven) Bierman of Nashville, TN, Emily (Dustin) Humphrey of Fort Calhoon, NE (their child Adalynn); paternal grandmother Maxine Tanderup of Coleridge, NE, maternal grandparents are Tom (Linda) Steffen of Hartington; mother Geri (Randy) Treptow of Comstock, NE, ½ brother Brody Treptow;  maternal grandfather Larry Schwarz of Yankton, SD. Preceding Trenten in death were his paternal grandfather Lowell Tanderup, maternal grandmother Esther Schwarz, nephew Landen McNear.
