Stephen J. Bourdette

Stephen J. Bourdette, 75, of Rapid City, SD, passed away on September 11, 2024, in Yankton, SD.

Steve was born in San Diego, CA to Eugene and Vivienne Bourdette on July 27, 1949. He graduated from Mountain View High School in Palo Alto, CA in 1968 and from the Aerospace Mechanic program at the United Technology Center in California in 1971. He enjoyed a career as a successful sales manager in California, Washington, and Nevada. He coached his kid's sports teams and square danced in the Boots and Slippers Dance Club.

Steve enjoyed cooking, fixing cars, and doing home improvements. He liked to fly-fish, camp, golf, travel, and watch football & baseball. He was a Niners and Giants fan and had a good time participating in a Fantasy Football League with his friends.

Steve is survived by his wife, Debi, of 43 years. His children and spouses Joe (Cindy), Shaun (Gayle), Pamela, and Stephen (Elizabeth). His grandchildren; Abigail, Luke, Juliet, Jordan, Kai, Michael, Mikayla, and Milli. His siblings; Phil, Cheri (Ken), (Tina), and Bob (Margaret), his mother-in-law, Mary Jane, and many nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vee and Gene and his brother, Don.

A celebration of life to honor Steve will be held at a later date in California.
