Spencer Alan Lammers, 5 month old son of Chris and Kara Lammers of Hartington, Nebraska died on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hartington with Rev. Owen Korte officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Hartington. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 6:00 pm at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am on Thursday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Ray Lammers, Tim Lammers, Chad Urban and Jordan Brakke.
Spencer was born on September 26, 2017 at the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD to Christopher Alan and Kara Marie (Marks) Lammers. His time on earth may have been short but his big heart touched the lives of all those that came in contact with. He enjoyed music, dancing, and playing with his big sister. He is survived by his parents of Hartington; a sister, Maya Lammers at home, maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Glenda Marks of Pierre, SD; paternal grandparents, Joe and Kathy Lammers of Hartington; maternal great grandmother, Yvonne Ehlers of Presho, SD; paternal great grandparents, Jeanette Lammers of Coleridge, NE and Norman and Delores Sudbeck of Hartington.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Alfred Urban, Walter Ehlers, Edward and Frances Marks, paternal great grandfather, Donavon Lammers and an uncle, John Lammers.
