Ronnie Noe, age 70, of Yankton, South Dakota, and formerly of Laurel, Nebraska, died Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, South Dakota.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the Concord Evangelical Free Church in Concord, Nebraska with Pastor Todd Thelen officiating. Burial will be in the Dakota City Cemetery in Parkston, South Dakota. Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the Concord Evangelical Free Church in Concord, Nebraska, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton, South Dakota.
Pallbearers are Marty Gukeisen, Derrick Gukeisen, Jesse Wudel, Nick Wudel, Scott Boysen and Glen Maxson. Honorary pallbearers are Richard Carlson, Milton Boysen, Milford Hansen, Lathan Detlefsen, Larry Jensen, Don Kaiser and Kevin Stewart.
Ronnie Noe was born June 14, 1954, in Ponca, Nebraska, to Verl and Evelyn (Ebmeier) Noe. He grew up on the family farm in Laurel, Nebraska. At age 16, he managed the farm and later took over the operations. Ronnie farmed his whole life in Laurel and took great pride in raising livestock. He married Molly Gukeisen on August 21, 2004, in Concord, Nebraska. They continued living on the farm until 2021 when they moved to Yankton, South Dakota.
Ronnie was a faithful hardworking man, who was always praying and praising the Lord. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and uncle. His children were everything to him and he loved spending time with them, fishing, playing board games or going on vacation. He enjoyed hunting and taking motorcycle trips all over the United States as well as Canada on his way to Alaska. He never knew a stranger, would talk to anyone and loved attending family reunions.
Survivors include his wife, Molly Noe of Yankton, South Dakota; two children: Hailey and Jacob of Yankton; two sisters: Doreen (Dale) Holcomb of Volin, South Dakota and LaDonna (Russell) Sundahl of Laurel, Nebraska and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Verl and Evelyn Noe and mother and father-in-law, Harriett and Clarence Gukeisen.
