Roger L. Anderson

Roger L. Anderson age 57 of Coleridge, Nebraska died on Sunday, March 05, 2023 at his residence in Coleridge.

A Memorial service will be planned for a future date.  Arrangements under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Coleridge.

Roger Lee was born on August 14, 1965 in O’Neill, Nebraska to Gary and Judy (Atkinson) Anderson.  Roger grew up in the Dixon/Concord area and graduated from Laurel High School in 1985.  Roger worked at the Winside Meat Locker before working for Foodtown Grocery Store in Hartington for a couple years.  He then worked at the hog confinement for Dennis Brodersen for over 15 years.  Roger worked for Burbach Dairy for a short period of time but because of health reasons he was not able to continue to work.

Roger liked to go fishing, go to car derbies, & collecting and selling junk.  Roger also liked to do mechanic work on vehicles.

Roger is survived by his eight children Justin Anderson of Arkansas, Britany Schaller of Broken Bow, NE, Michael (Nikki) Anderson of Norfolk, Jessica (Mark) Suhr of Elgin, NE, Brooke (Jordan) Tewes of Rembrandt, IA, Walker Anderson & fiance Britney Davis of Wausa, Nikita Anderson of Fonda, IA, Daunte Anderson of Coleridge; three brothers Chad (Shawna) Anderson of Norfolk, Ronnie (Diana) Anderson of Coleridge, Keith (Kelly) Anderson of Dixon, NE; sister Rebecca (Mike) O’Connell of Lincoln.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents Gary and Judy, brother Duane Anderson; an uncle Larry Anderson.
