Randall (Randy) Rissler

Randall (Randy) Gene Rissler, born on June 24, 1950, to Chet and Minnie Rissler, in Crofton Nebraska, passed peacefully on Sunday May 20, 2018 in his home in Green Valley, Az. He lost his battle of 4 short months to cancer. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Wintz Funeral Home, Crofton, Nebraska on Friday, July 6th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to say a few words can do so at 2:30. Randy was the youngest of 5 children. He graduated from Crofton Public High School in 1968, and after spending time in Lincoln, NE., Phoenix, AZ, & Spokane, WA. he moved to California in 1998. Upon retiring in 2017 he moved to Green Valley, Arizona. Randy loved his music, playing both the piano and the clarinet. He was also very talented in woodworking. Randy took a great deal of pride of always being there for his family and friends until the end. His last wishes were to be cremated and then be interred at the Crofton Cemetery. Randy is survived by his spouse, Fred Christy, of Green Valley, AZ; sister Donna Clevenger of Cameron, MO; sister-in-law Marcia (brother Bob), of Branson, MO; brothers Perry (Sylvia), of Auburn, AL; and Norman (MerEdith) Rissler, of Overland Park, KS; three nieces and three nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Chet and Minnie Rissler and brother Robert Rissler.
