Patti Harold, age 67, of Crofton, Nebraska, died Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, South Dakota.
A celebration of Patti’s life will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington, Nebraska.
Patricia Ann Harold was born November 10, 1956 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to Wilbur and Dorothy (Brown) Fisher. She grew up and attended school in Hersey, Pennsylvania and graduated from Hershey High School in 1974. She raised her three daughters: Elicia, Joyel and Jessica and loved putting on puppet plays and children’s plays with them. While in Pennsylvania, Pattie also became a foster parent, focusing on teens who were pregnant. She moved her family to Aberdeen, South Dakota in 1995 and then to Yankton, South Dakota in 1997, where Patti became the Director of Children’s Ministries at First Assembly of God Church. She married Michael Harold on March 17, 1998, in Yankton. They moved to Crofton, Nebraska and Patti continued her youth ministry, putting on carnivals and monthly themed tea parties. She also started Peck N Pack Press, and would publish children’s magazines for churches.
Patti was a funny, caring woman who wouldn’t pick on you unless she liked you. She had a great sense of humor and loved giving gag gifts to her family. She had a love for children of all ages and would help them in any way she could.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Harold of Crofton, Nebraska; three daughters: Elicia (Tory) Larson of Brighton, Colorado; Joyel Cardona of York, Pennsylvania and Jessica Bleacher of Crofton; nine grandchildren: Stephen (Frandy), Shaianne, Jonathan, Noelle, Aaron, Kenny, Angelica, Anthony, Andrew and Anna; five great grandchildren: Xander, Xayleigh, Xaidan, Frina and Freyja; two brothers: Robert (Glenda) Fisher of Missoula, Montana and Dennis Fisher of Bloomington, Indiana; and nieces and nephew: Tammy, Brandy and Jeremy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Dorothy Fisher.
