Michael “Tiny” O’Shea, age 61, of Yankton, South Dakota, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, June 13, 2019.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Sertoma Park in Yankton. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Yankton.
Michael was born January 31, 1958 in West Virginia to Ernest and Mary (Cumberland) O’Shea. Michael lived life to the fullest and everything was an adventure for him. He loved helping people and he was always there for those in need. Michael always wanted to be loved and accepted by others. He enjoyed trips to the Black Hills and also enjoyed the company of his Dotsons, Mischief and Magic. Michael loved his family in his own special way. The love of his life was his wife, Theresa. She was everything to Michael and they enjoyed around 30 wonderful years together. After she passed away on January 25, 2014, life was never the same for Michael.
Michael is survived by four children: Brenda (Harold) Waterman of Pierce, NE, Richard (Stacy) Kirkendall of Whiteface, TX, Travis Lindsey of Irene, SD and Merlesha Lindsey of North Carolina; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Crislip of Florida and Patrick Crislip of Sugarland, TX; a special niece, Becky Crislip Kurtz of Roswell, NM; and many friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Theresa O’Shea; son, James Kirkendall; daughter-in-law, Maria Kirkendall; sister, Jean Crislip and brother, Frank Crislip.
