Mary Pinkelman

Mary Pinkelman, age 63 of Aurora, Colorado, formerly of Crofton, Nebraska, died on Thursday, June 14, 2018. A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 am at the St. Rose of Lima Church in Crofton, Nebraska with Rev. Timothy Podraza officiating. The Wintz Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements Mary was born on April 20, 1955 to Fredolin (Fritz) and Irene Pinkelman. She graduated from Crofton High School in 1973 and attended Nettleton College in Sioux Falls, SD for fashion merchandising. After school, she traveled to the Denver, CO area to ski. Later, Mary returned to Colorado, doing both real estate and bar tending. She lived in Colorado for many years and very much enjoyed the mountains. Mary is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Szczepaniak; a brother, Galen Pinkelman of Wausa, NE; sisters Rosetta Hopler of Rockaway, NJ, Carla (Marvin) Swick of Newcastle, NE, and Laureen (Bob) Thoene of Hartington, NE; and by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her special friend Chris Szczepaniak, an infant sister, Karen Pinkleman; and two brothers, Joe and Loren Pinkelman; a brother in law, Wayne A. Hopler; and a niece, Melanie Hopler.
