Lynne Marie was born on June 25, 1946 in Crofton, Nebraska to Conrad John and Viva Vivian (Renn) Mormann. She grew up in Crofton and graduated from Crofton High School in 1964. Lynne made a lifelong friend, Karen, on her first birthday party, and continued to be friends today, whom she would see and travel with regularly. Lynne then attended Nettleton Business School in Sioux City. She lived with three friends in an apartment before marrying Daniel Henry Kremer on November 30, 1968 in Crofton. She and Dan moved to Omaha and had a son Jeff.
Lynne worked at the Nebraska Humane Society as a secretary and then worked for a playground equipment company in Omaha. She eventually began working in the insurance industry where she was a secretary. Daniel died on January 4, 2014 at the age of 76 years. Lynne retired around 2012 at the age of 65 years. She stayed in their home until moving into a townhouse near her son Jeff.
Lynne donated her time to work for Foster Care in Omaha. She was a loveable person who cherished her son, enjoyed organizing and attending her family gatherings and class reunions. She actually went to Paris and Germany in 2019 to see relatives she had never known. Lynne enjoyed her TV shows, cocktail hour, the Kentucky Derby, and having Jeff and Crissy over for Sunday lunches at least two times a month or more. She was a part of the “Meet Up Group”. She enjoyed travelling, eating different foods, and decorating her home for the seasons. Lynne was a Nebraska Cornhusker and Kansas City Chiefs fan, loved to read and was a “lover of life”. Jeff and Crissy will tell you Lynne was always welcoming to them and Jeff was her Rock.
Lynne is survived by her son Jeff and fiancé Crissy of Omaha.
Lynne was preceded in death by her parents Conrad and Viva Mormann; and husband Daniel Kremer.
