Lazaro Rosales Ibanez

Lazaro Rosales Ibanez, age 41, of Yankton, South Dakota, died as a result of a house fire at his home in Yankton on February 17, 2021. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 19, 2021, at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton.  Burial will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 20, 2021, in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Yankton. Lazaro Rosales Ibanez was born in La Havana Cuba on January 29th 1980 to parents Rigoberto Rosales Coello & Candida Ibanez Torrez.  He went to school at Fructoso Rodrigues. After that he moved to Ecuador and spent some time there making new friends and family.  Then he decided to move to the United States to make a better life and came straight to Yankton, South Dakota. He enjoyed playing softball with his team the Mackey's, especially with the Tyler's and his brother's Wilian & Papi.  He loved shooting the breeze, drinking his Corona Extra, smoking his Cuban cigars and playing Dominoes.  He enjoyed all types of music especially Mexican music.  He was obsessed with hats, cologne, and especially his wife's Victoria Secret perfume.  He first started working at Cimpl's and then moved to Wilson Trailer at the time of his demise. He is survived by his loving wife Yamile Pintado Figueredo.  His children Jonathan Rosales Trutie, Yesenia Rosales Trutie, Leticia Rosales Pedro, and Yurisey Rosales Pedro.  His mother Candida Ibanez Torrez.  And his brother  Alexander Rosales Ibanez.  He was loved by all and will be missed by many. He will be received in heaven by his grandparents and loving father Rigoberto Rosales Coello.  Rest in peace my Cuban brother.
