Josh was born December 3, 1997 in Yankton, South Dakota to Kevin Hauger and Dorothy Smith. He graduated from Wheeler Central High School in Bartlett, NE in 2016. He worked for Grosch Irrigation in O’Neill, NE for several years and was currently working at Waste Connections. On May 29, 2019, Josh married Kayla Rees. He absolutely loved her children and the time spent with them. Josh was all about cars – he loved driving them, fixing them and doing custom work to them. In Josh’s words: he loved anything fast enough to do something stupid. He always kept busy and had no patience for sitting still. He was very competitive but also very protective. Josh had a big heart and treasured his family.
