Joseph Walter Klus

Joseph Walter Klus, age 72 of Hartington, Nebraska died on Tuesday, May 08, 2018 at the Avera Sister James Care Center in Yankton, SD. No Memorial services are being planned for Joseph at this time. Arrangements were under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington. Joseph Walter Klus was born on March 15, 1946 in Newark, NJ to Paul and Julia (Buzch) Klus. He grew up in Cedar Grove, New Jersey until the 8th grade and then moved to Los Angeles, California. Joseph received his High School GED while serving in the military. He was in the Army during the Vietnam War from June 1964 to July of 1967. Joseph was a Truck Driver and worked for Werner Enterprises. Joe married Betty Lenore Hubbard. He worked as a janitor for Cedar Catholic at the Monsignor Cyril Werner Activity Center from July 2013 until December 31, 2017. Joseph is survived by his wife Betty of Hartington.
