Jessica M. Eskins

Jessica Marie Eskins, age 39 of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, formerly of Wynot, Nebraska, died on Friday, January 17, 2020 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 10:30 am at the Holy Family (Sacred Heart) Catholic Church in Wynot, Nebraska with Rev. Andy Phan officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Wynot. Visitation will be on Wednesday, at church, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will begin one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church. The Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers will be Shane Leise, Russ Wiepen, Kyle Wiepen, Eric Wieseler, Cody Wieseler, Nathan Schieffer, Joey Wiebelhaus, Scott Wiebelhaus, Robbie Wiebelhaus, Cameron Eskins, Drew Eskins, Jeremy Eskins, Ryan Uhing, David Uhing, Marcus Uhing, and Kelly Clarkson Honorary pallbearers will be Laura Wiepen, Sara Wieseler, Jill McCoy, Caitlyn Oien, Abby Oien, Tracy Holcomb, Brenda Malcom, Adriana McManus, Hannah Neal, and Kara Eskins. Jessica was born on October 8, 1980 in Yankton, SD to John William and Cindy Ann (Schieffer) Eskins. She grew up in Wynot and graduated from Wynot High School in 1999. Jessica then attended Mount Marty College for one year. She received her RN Degree from St. Lukes School of Nursing in 2004. She was a Registered Nurse in labor and delivery at Allina Health in Coon Rapids since 2007. Jessica enjoyed being with friends, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her nieces. Jessica is survived by her father, John Eskins of Wynot, NE; two brothers, Jason (Misty) Eskins of Yankton, SD, Josh (Stacy) Eskins of Brandon, SD; four nieces; Rachael, Ashley, Allison and Isabella Eskins; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cindy Eskins on October 22, 1998 at the age of 44; grandparents, John & Helen Eskins and Alphonse & Gertrude Schieffer.
