Gwynn Stiles

Gwynn Stiles, age 85, of Yankton, South Dakota passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Avera Sister James Care Center in Yankton. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the Yankton Cemetery with Reverend Ron Johnson officiating.  Visitation is from 1:00 to 1:45 PM, prior to the burial on Wednesday at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton. Gwynn was born August 29, 1936 to Leon and Sophie (Bratberg) Stiles.  He was the son of a Methodist circuit minister and spent his early years in Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas and Arkansas.  Gwynn’s family later settled in Yankton, SD. Gwynn had a passion for drawing, spending much of his free time doing so.  He also loved Cable Cars, making them one of his favorite things to draw. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ken and Bert Stiles; and sister, Valerie (Stiles) Gemar. Gwynn leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
