Glenda Marie Schenk

Glenda Marie Schenk, age 71, of Mission Hill, South Dakota died on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at her home.

A private family service to celebrate her life will be held at her home at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Yankton.

Glenda was born October 28, 1953 to Charles and Mary (Candelaria) Echols. She dedicated her entire life to her family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who was always there for support or to lend a helping hand. Glenda enjoyed reading, painting and quilting. Above all, Glenda loved her Lord and was a faithful follower of Christ. She will be greatly missed. 

Glenda is survived by four children: Kenny (Lisa) North of Waddell, AZ, Kevin (Jackie) North of Buckeye, AZ, Hollie (Nathan) Clough of Mission Hill, SD and Kristin Schenk of Vermillion, SD; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three brothers: Chuck, Steve and Brian Echols, all of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and three brothers: Joseph, Mike and Rick Echols.
