Eunice K. Nelson

Eunice K. Nelson died on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the Providence Medical Center in Wayne, Nebraska. Burial of her cremated remains will be at the Maskell cemetery in Maskell, Nebraska at a future date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home of Laurel, Nebraska. Eunice Kathleen was born on January 6, 1929 in Maskell, Nebraska to Joe Martin and Cora Genevieve (Pederson) Nelson.  Eunice attended elementary school at Logan Center, Nebraska and lived in Logan Center for 10 years prior to moving to the Logan View area near Coleridge, Nebraska.  She lived and farmed here with her sister, Jewell Nelson, for the past 75 years. Eunice is survived by her sister Jewell Nelson of Laurel, Nebraska; a brother Calvin (Karen) Nelson of Laguna Beach, CA; niece Kristi (Andy) Williamson of Chapel Hill, NC – (their children Aaron and Noah), niece Michelle (Pete) Aleshire of Payson, AZ (their children Brooke “Kubby” of Fairbanks, AK and Chrystal “Kubby” of Tempe, AZ. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Cora Nelson.
