Dakota Jacobs

Dakota Jacobs age 23 of Wynot, Nebraska died unexpectantly on Saturday, December 31, 2022 near Newcastle, Nebraska. His is the son of Alan and Maureen Jacobs.

Private family funeral services were held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington with Rev. Jim Keiter officiating.  Arrangements were under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington, Nebraska. 

  Dakota Preston was born on March 23, 1999 in Sioux City, Iowa to Alan John and Maureen Lee (Casey) Jacobs. He grew up in the Wynot area and graduated from Hartington High School in 2017. Dakota then went to Northeast Technical Community College in Norfolk for two years to study Diesel Mechanics.

Dakota is survived by his parents Alan and Maureen Jacobs of Wynot; brothers Wyatt Jacobs of Vermillion, SD, Zack (Jessica) Humphrey of Virginia Beach, VA; nephew Zander of Virginia Beach, VA; grandmother Jackie Bland.
