Bobbie Jean Reifenrath, age 75 of Laurel, Nebraska died on Monday, June 29, 2020 at her residence in Laurel.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 10:30 am at the Evangelical Free Church in Concord, Nebraska with Pastor Todd Thelen officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Laurel.
Bobbie was born on May 4, 1945 in Sioux City, Iowa. She grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. After high school, she attended college at Wayne State University. On June 1, 1968, Bobbie married Freddy Paul Reifenrath in Dakota City, Nebraska. Together, they had four children.
Bobbie loved photography, especially photographing nature and old barns. She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, journaling, and loved her family and her five cats. She was a very spiritual person and was involved in a bible study group. She was also a member of the Evangelical Free Church in Concord, Nebraska. Bobbie had some very close friends in Laurel, and always enjoyed her Friday morning coffee with Jackie. Her family and friends will always remember her great sense of humor.
Bobbie is survived by her children, Dawn Tift of Emerson, NE, LaVaille Reifenrath of Emerson, NE, Frederick (Julie) Reifenrath of Dakota City, NE, Justin (Corrine) Reifenrath of Emerson, NE; grandchildren, Ashley, Josh, Caleb, Jeremiah, Austin, Raegan, River, Kaitilyn, Ava; great-grandchildren, Lily, Kaden, Gabriella, Ronan, Charlie, Marley; brother, Mike (Debbie) Wiggs, and a sister, Tammy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike & Betty Wiggs; husband, Freddy Reifenrath on November 13, 2007; and her fur babies, Roxie, Cha-Cha, and Ruby.
