Andres Renteria

Andres “Andy” Renteria, age 59, of Yankton, South Dakota, died Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital.

Funeral service will be 4:00 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton, South Dakota.  Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Wednesday at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home.

Andres “Andy” Renteria was born January 2, 1964, to Andres and Catalina Renteria.  He grew up and attended school in Mexico and later moved to the United States.  He met Nadine Ojeda in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and were married on February 18, 1987.  They moved to Yankton, South Dakota in 1995 were Andres worked at Cimpl Meats for 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Nadine Renteria; four children: Douglas Renteria, Andres (Mallory) Renteria III, Brandon Renteria, and Catalina (Marcus Snow) Renteria; and ten grandchildren: Olivia, Ariana, Ava, Robert, Aurora, Wade, Taya, Jose, Yahir, and Mateo.
