Adelaide Anne Fix

Adelaide Anne Fix, age 7 days, entered the loving arms of God on June 3, 2022, at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Yankton, South Dakota with Reverend Bob Lacey officiating.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Yankton, South Dakota.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to either Be Not Afraid (https://benotafraid.net/) or Sioux Falls Ronald McDonald House (https://www.rmhcsodak.org/) Adelaide Ann Fix was born May 27, 2022 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Greg and Rebecca (Soldner) Fix.  She was baptized on May 27th and although our time with her was shorter than we wanted, we take comfort in knowing she is with our Father in Heaven.  We would like to thank the staff at Sanford Children’s Hospital for the wonderful care they gave to Adelaide and our family during this difficult time. Adelaide is survived by her parents, Greg and Rebecca Fix of Yankton; four brothers and sisters: Ezra, Chiara, Christiana and Matthias; grandparents: Marvin and Janet Soldner of Cold Spring, Minnesota and Don Fix of Stanchfield, Minnesota; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Anne Marie Fix and cousin, Olivia Soldner.
