My sincere Christian sympathy to each member of the family. You have been and will continue in my prayers as you grieve the passing of Clayton and yet celebrate the faith created in Him by the Holy Spirit and the sharing of that faith with each of you. May God grant you comfort and peace.

I can't help but think about the words of Colossians 3:15 at a time like this: "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And to be thankful." Your Family is part of my "real family" and at a time like this, we mourn with your family, but we know the peace that passes all understanding. I feel honored to have known Clayton, and he was a real farmer, just like my dad...and the two of them are now waiting for us in our REAL HOME. Please know how much we love your family, as you have been such an encouragement to our family over the years. We extend our love and sympathy to all of the Schroeder Family....and especially to Darlene at the loss of her partner. I look forward to seeing Clayton when we get to our real home. He's waiting for us....Old Missionary Gary, who loves your family....

Dear Darlene and the entire Schroeder family: My deepest sympathy to you at the loss of Clayton. Having spent the better part of three summers helping with all the farm work, I spent a great deal of time with Clayton. He taught me how to operate all the farm equipment. And, I was never hollered at when I made a dumb mistake! After supper, he always had time to ''play catch'. I wanted to be with you tomorrow but time and distance would not allow. However, my thoughts and prayers will be. God Bless Everyone!
