Paul Sangster, Jr. age 83, of Yankton, South Dakota, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.

A memorial service will be 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton with Reverend Dani Jo Ninke officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Yankton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Paul Sangster, Jr. was born June 22, 1932, in Gordon, Nebraska, to Paul Sr. and Edith (Bosteder) Sangster. Shortly after he was born the family moved to Yankton, South Dakota, where Paul lived the majority of his life. Paul battled epilepsy his whole life and spent that last few years in the Wakonda Heritage Manor and most recently at Avera Yankton Care Center.

Paul enjoyed politics, hauling his "treasures" in his pickups and loved riding Harley's including a few trips out to the coasts. He especially loved visiting with people and always had the coffee pot on and soda in the fridge.

Survivors include his three children: Paul (Kelly) Sangster III of Yankton; Tammy (Jack) Smith of Yankton; and Scot (Shelly) Sangster of Yankton; and nine grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son in infancy, Clifford; and step-brother, Melvin Patton.
