Robert Rissler age 76 of Branson, Missouri passed away on October 24, 2016 at his home.

Memorial services for Robert Lee Rissler, age 76, of Branson, Missouri, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on November 11th at the Wintz Funeral Home in Crofton, Nebraska, with burial of his cremated remains to follow in the Crofton Cemetery.

Robert was born on October 11, 1940 in Crofton the son of Chester W. and Wilhelmina C. M. ("Minnie") Schuett Rissler. He was a retired educator, spending 39 years as a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent in the following cities in Nebraska: Albion, Belden, Harrisburg, Randolph, Bassett and Malcolm. Bob was united in marriage to Marcia A. Nashleanas on July 18th, 1984 in Yankton, S.D. He retired in 1999 and they moved to Branson, Mo.

Bob's greatest accomplishments was being the best teacher, husband, father and friend in life. He strived to reach out and assist others in need and to lift everyone's spirits with quick humor. He loved to see those around him smile.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia A. Rissler, of the home, son Brett Lee Rissler (from his first marriage to Sharon K. Promes) and wife Nancy of Frisco, TX. Three brothers, Perry Rissler and wife Sylvia of Auburn, AL.; Norman Rissler and wife Meredith of Overland Park, KS; and Randy Rissler and partner Fred Christy of Concord, Cal; a sister, Donna Clevenger of Cameron, Mo. Two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

My sympathy to Mr. Risslers family. My thoughts with Bretton and family...as I worked with him years ago at wagon wheel. Mr Russet was also a former teacher . Blessings to all.
