Larry L. Lindemann, age 78 of Hartington, Nebraska died on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Creighton University Hospital in Omaha, NE.

Memorial Services will be on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Congregational U.C.C. in Hartington with the Rev. Gary Kimm officiating. Burial of his cremated remains will be at the Hartington City Cemetery with military rites by the Hartington VFW Post #5283. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until service time at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington.

Urn bearers will be Keith Goeden, Eric Hall, Danny Goeden, and Curtis Gardner. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Larry Leroy was born on the family farm on April 16, 1937 in Cedar County, Nebraska to Lawrence and Margaret (Kepper) Lindemann. He went to country school and graduated from Hartington Public High School. He served in the U.S. Army from June of 1955 until June of 1957. Larry married Madeline L. Ramsley on August 10, 1963 in Yankton, SD. He farmed and lived on the family farm his entire life. Larry and Madeline had spent the past six winters in Arizona. Larry always loved being with his family and friends and watching his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren participate in sports and other activities. He enjoyed dancing, and playing cards.

He was a member of First Congregational Church and the Hartington VFW Post #5283.

Larry is survived by his wife Madeline of Hartington; one son Brad Lindemann of Yankton, SD; two daughters Carla and Mark Goeden of Bow Valley, Jill and Scot Gardner of German Town, TN; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two brothers and spouses Dick and June Lindemann of Broomfield, CO, Bill and Barbara Lindemann of San Tan Valley, AZ; one sister Sharon and husband Wally Hoblit of Mesa, AZ; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Margaret, and son Douglas.
