Mary Frances Keiter age 90 of Hartington, Nebraska died on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Hartington.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hartington with Rev. Jim Keiter and Rev. Owen Korte officiating.  Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in Hartington.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 3-5:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 4:00 p.m. at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington.  Visitation will continue on Monday, at church, one hour prior to services.

Pallbearers will be Ken Keiter, Judd Keiter, Scott Keiter, Woody Armentrout, Nick Armentrout, Matt Armentrout, Dave Wubben, and Jeff Arens.

Mary Frances Keiter was born on June 9, 1926 in Hartington, NE to Frank and Katherine (Sohm) Keiter.  She grew up in Hartington and graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1944.  Mary Frances did housekeeping work for Wilma Pick until her death and then took care of Barbara Pick and Vera Keiter.  She would take them to their appointments and provide care to them.  Her caregiving also extended to her father, Theresa Keiter and Grandma and Grandpa Keiter.

Mary Frances was a member of Holy Trinity Church and its Ladies Guild.  She was a member of Perpetual Adoration at Holy Trinity for many years until about five years ago.  Mary Frances was a great cook, baker, and a "master" of pancakes.  She enjoyed playing Sheephead and other card games.

Mary Frances is survived by her two brothers, Jacob and his wife Darlene Keiter of Hartington, Anthony Keiter of Hartington; nieces and nephews Debbie (Woody) Armentrout of Omaha, Gina Dierks of Omaha, Rev. Jim Keiter of Fordyce, Ken (Kayla) Keiter of Hartington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Catherine Dierks and Theresa Keiter.
