I'm so sorry for the Hunhoff family in the loss of your loved one . I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and pray the Lord will help ease your pain. With Herb and Betty Hunhoff being my Aunt and uncle on the Hacecky side I met Phylis at a young age thru some gatherings at Herb and Betty's. It sounds like she was a very loving and good hearted woman. May she Rest In Peace in the Lords hands.
May our Lord Jesus wrap his arms around all of Phyllis's family and give you peace. She was a dear friend, and co-worker. I have many found memories of the time we spent together. Blessings!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time! May God be with you and may he grant you some comfort!
Dear Catherine, Mary, Joseph, Francis, & the entire Hunhoff family, please accept my condolences for your loss. It is so hard to understand how this could have happened to anyone, yet alone to Phyllis. I met her through First National Bank Of Omaha, when I worked with her at Valley State Bank on their computer conversion in 1987. We became friends through my many visits to the bank during that time and afterwards when I worked at our phone support help desk in Omaha. Whenever she would come to Omaha for training classes or meetings, she would always take time to come and see me. She was intelligent, outgoing, humorous, always dressed immaculately, and such a kind & giving person to all those she encountered. She was the type of person our world needs more of and her life was one that was a blessing to all those who had the privilege to know her. I pray God will provide you with comfort & strength through this very difficult time. May time lessen the pain of your los s, but never lessen the happy memories of the times you spent with Phyllis. With my sincere & deepest sympathy, Bob Brown.

To Catherine, and all of the Hunhoff family, also all of Phyllis' relatives, and friends. You have my deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers
Prayers were said for Phyllis across the country. Her many friends ache and work to accept the reality of the loss. Things can never be the same but there is the closure of knowing that she is safe with the Holy Family in heaven. It gives me comfort to imagine my dear mother Delores (who loved Phyllis very much) greeting and comforting her.

Dear Hunhoff Family,
My deepest condolences to your family. My husband and I are currently living in Germany and I heard of her passing through my mom. I had the pleasure of knowing Phyllis through my mom, who used to work with her and maintained their friendship throughout the years. She is such a great, humble, kind woman who always had a smile on her face and kindness in her eyes. I didn't know her as well as my mom but felt like I got to know her more through the beautiful video keepsake. In memory of Phyllis, I have donated to an organization called Working Against Violence, Inc (WAVI) of South Dakota. We will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all and may peace be filled in time in your hearts.
