So sorry for your loss. I knew him from living in Volin but lost contact when I moved to yankton. When he moved into sunrise where my mom lived I would visit with him often when being there...was enjoyable. Prayers for all his family.
I am so sorry for your loss, our loss. I am with you today, and holding memories in my heart. Love to you all.
Let it be known that Darrel will be missed but remember this, Darrel made a difference in the lives of thousands. Darrel is in good hands now, our thoughts and prayers are with Darrel and his families and friends far reaching his local service. God bless.

My sympathies to the entire Hanson family -- I remember your Dad very well such a caring friendly larger than life individual. He will be missed but not forgotten. Sadly we are all getting at that age where our parents are leaving this temporary home to live eternity with our creator. They are the lucky ones -- we will meet them again. May your memories comfort you until then.
Feels like I lost another brother. Prayers for all who also have many memories.

Craig - Sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. You, Denise, and your entire family are in our thoughts. I noticed that Darrel and Jim Sr. were the same age. Too young to say goodbye. Remember the good times.

So sorry to hear of Darrel passing. I have so many great memories of the Darrel and Mary and the Hanson kids. I enjoyed riding the school bus so much with them and the video brought back so many memories from childhood. My Dad, Luvern Swensen enjoyed them on his bus and I remember lots of fun and shenanigans.
God Bless you.
