Sad news. Jack was the best. Great free spirit.
I'll miss Jack a lot. He was one cool cousin. I enjoyed being enlightened by his knowledge of our family history and of music. He certainly was funny, I can hear his laugh now. Rest in peace and love, Jack.

It will take a while to get over the shock and sadness. Jack's passing is way too soon; there were still many great memories ahead. There's no way to express how much his intelligence, wit, and friendship will be missed. No one could make me smile and laugh like JG. Prayers to Jack's siblings, extended family, and friends. It's a great personal loss.
Rest in peace, Jack. You're finally set free. Prayers to all your family and friends. From a fellow 1981 classmate.

Sooooo shocked and saddened to hear of Jack's death. Surreal. Although I hadn't seen him in yrs, he's still a big part of so many wonderful memories from our youth. Fun times, great teams, & very good memories of a good and kind man. God bless you Jack,
I knew Jack since High School and will always remember how he cracked me up in class. His smile was honest and genuine, and that I will surely miss. RIP Jack !
To Jack's family and friends, sharing in your sadness.

I still remember that day in 1st grade when we decided we wanted to sit at the same desk and be "Billy Jack". That bond lasted 46 years. Nobody knew us like we knew each other and I feel a loss that I could not have expected. When the phone rings while I'm just sitting down to eat dinner, I'm still going to think it's you, like it was a thousand times. My condolences go out to your family and all of your many friends. Until we meet again my friend, rest in peace.
Jack will truly be missed, I was very saddened to hear this news. My prayers, thoughts of love and comfort go out to your family.
We remember Jack from high school. What a great guy! Always a smile for us so many years later. Loved his mom & dad & loved him. Jack will be missed by all who knew him. We are so sorry for the pain his family is going through. Look for Jesus to lift you up during the rough days.

Heard about Jack's passing while visiting in Yankton this week. So sorry for this loss; prayers for Jack and his loved ones. Jack was the tall boy from the afternoon class assigned as my walking partner for the end of year picnic at Memorial Park in May 1969.
I was so saddened to hear of Jack's passing. While it has been many years since we've connected, I have such fond memories of Jack being such a jovial and fun member of our class of '81. My deepest sympathies to family and all who were close to him.
Words, however kind, can't take away the pain of the loss of a family member, a friend, or classmate. Find some comfort and peace of mind knowing those who knew Jack...that one "boy" in school who was actually taller then me...are blessed. My prayers, and heartfelt sympathy go out to you all.
