Pallbearers will be Scott Lammers, Cory Lammers, Russ Lammers, Chris Goeden, Joel Emanuel, and John Fischer.

Taylor was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on April 20, 1994. Three weeks later he moved back home to Hartington with his parents Michael and Kim Emanuel. Soon he was joined by his sister Amber in 1995 and brother Broderick in 1997.

At the age of 3 Taylor started attending school at Tower in Wayne, NE and loved every minute from the bus ride to school and back home again. He was able to attend five days a week throughout the year up until his last illness.

Taylor was rarely unhappy. Smiles and giggles were frequent, especially in the kitchen smelling whatever was cooking and hearing the dishes go in and out of the dishwasher. Grandpa could make him smile with a whistle and so could mom when she tried to sing! (She was better at humming!) Walks outside were among one of Taylor's favorite things especially if there was a breeze! Grandma's porch was awesome for breeze sitting! A colorful movie, (like Rio), musical bells, brushing his teeth and batting around a good Mylar Balloon were a guarantee smile and giggle to follow!

"Don't be sad the moment ended...Be Happy the moment happened!"

Taylor is survived by his parents, Michael and Kim Emanuel; a sister Amber and brother Brodrick at home; maternal grandparents Allen and Carol Lammers of Hartington; paternal grandparents Joseph and Bonnie Emanuel of Hartington; Aunts and uncles Scott Lammers of Ashland, NE, Chris and Carmen Goeden of Lincoln, NE, Cory and Shawna Lammers of Lincoln, NE, Russ and Dawn Lammers of Wilmar, MN, Joel Emanuel and Christy Orwig of Aberdeen, SD, John and Jana Fischer of Lincoln, NE; 9 cousins, Jack Emma and Hazel Goeden; Luke, David and Mathew Lammers; and Persephone, Selene and Willow Fischer.

Taylor was preceded in death by his sibling Aaron; great grandparents Hugo and Hildegarde Lammers; John Jr. and Rose Thoene; Eugene and Elsie Emanuel & H.M. (Butch) Haberer.

Michael & Kim,

I believe God's plan for Taylor was to be blessed with a Dad and Mom, brother/sister, grandparents & Aunts/Uncles who loved him and cared for himgreatly. I can only imagine the pain you have at this time but I know the love he brought to you is very special in your hearts and will ease this pain as he is remembered. Taylor is now with Him in heaven and rejoicing and will be waiting for all to join him. I will pray that God will provide you with strength in this time of mourning.

Kim and Michael,

I was sadden to hear that Taylor had died. I am sorry that I was not able to be with you today at the funeral because I am not yet to travel any great distance since my accident. Believe me, I was greatly tempted but decided to let common sense win this time. I will be praying for you at your loss and will offer a couple of Masses for Taylor. God bless you and fill you with His peace.

Thinking of you during this most tender time. He was a lucky guy to be a member of your wonderful family. He will be greatly missed and will hold a special place in many hearts. God Bless you.

Jeff and Jolene Steffen

Extending heartfelt condolences for your loss. Cherish loving memories of laughter and times spent together. Proverbs 17:22 says "A joyful heart is good medicine", therefore, may those memories bring you joy and warm your heart. Take comfort in the promises and hope found at Revelation 21:4 "death will be no more", the hope of the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death (Acts 24:15), and Psalm 46:1 says "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". May this bring you some comfort at this time.
