Logan Crawford, age 46, of Yankton, South Dakota died on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Yankton Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Yankton.

Logan was born on November 30, 1969 in Richmond, California to Robert and Mary (Rudd) Crawford. He grew up in California and graduated from Independence High School in San Jose. Among his various jobs included working for the City of Richmond and the California Conservation Corp. In 2001, Logan moved to Yankton. He enjoyed bowling and watching TV, especially the Weather Channel. He always dreamed of being a storm chaser and was fascinated by tornados. Logan enjoyed the company of his dogs but mostly he loved his family and all his nieces and nephews affectionately called him Uncle Oleo.

Logan is survived by his mother, Mary Crawford of Yankton; brother, Jason Crawford of California; girlfriend, Rita Choate of Yankton; three nieces and nephews: Ashley, John and Chris Crawford; and a great nephew, Nikolas Crawford.

Logan was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
