Roseline was born on April 15, 1929 at Crofton, Nebraska to Ferdinand J. and Mary Wilhelmina (Foxhoven) Guenther. She was one of 10 children including, Fred, Catherine, Elizabeth, Mary, Anna, John, Joe, Clarence and Albert. Rose grew up on the farm near Crofton and finished 8th grade at the St. Rose of Lima Elementary School in Crofton. She then helped her family and others as a hired girl. She married Roman Burbach on June 24, 1952 at Constance, Nebraska. Rose and Roman lived on a farm south of Bow Valley where they raised their 11 children. She canned and froze all kinds of vegetables over the years and often remarked that it was good to have a big garden when you have a large family. She also canned apples, peaches and pears for pies and desserts. Living on the farm there was very little leisure time as there was always work to do. They enjoyed visiting with family and friends but liked staying close to home. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and doing cross word puzzles. She especially loved holding her grandbabies and great grandbabies. Rose moved to the Avera Sister James Care Center in Yankton in 2012. She was a member of the Holy Family (Sts. Peter & Paul) Catholic Church in Bow Valley and the Christian Mothers.

Rosaline is survived by 11 children, Esther Robinson of Yankton, SD; Donovan and Deena Burbach of Hastings, NE; Arlene and Steve Kramer of Omaha, NE; Dale and Mary Burbach of Crofton, NE; Beverly and Don Hoebelheinrich of Yankton, SD; Kelly and Beth Burbach of Coleridge, NE; Floyd and Julie Burbach of Tabor, SD; Norma and Bruce Pokorny of Yankton, SD; Leo Burbach and Fiance Bonnie Hisek of Yankton, SD; Arlo Burbach of Scotland and his friend, Connie Thompson of Laurel, NE; Lee Burbach of Malcolm, NE; and his friend Kerri Halstead of Lincoln, NE; 26 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, a brother, Albert and Janice Guenther of Norfolk, NE; a sister, Anna Wortmann of Hartington and a sister-in-law, Rosemary Guenther of Crofton.

May the love of family and friends carry you gently through the loss you are feeling now. Rosaline and Roman were such kind and loving souls. The love they showed each other, particularly in their later years always touched my heart. Although our trips to Nebraska were few and far between, I have many fond memories of our times at the old farmstead. I am sorry I could not make the trip to celebrate Aunt Rosaline's life but my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Love, Ann Burbach; Milwaukee, WI
